We believe that a green and environmentally conscious workplace is safer for all stakeholders, and therefore, a governing focus on processes and procedures to better align our efforts and outcomes in this direction is a priority, with a focus on effectiveness, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.

CO-WORKER TEAMS MAKE THINGS HAPPEN
Our founder, Ioannis “John” Germanis, believed that anyone who worked for the company became part of the family, and their families, by extension, did too. He knew that working together in this manner ensured a better working environment for everyone, and ultimately a better product for the client.
We strive to continue his legacy. We work co-operatively, regardless of position, supporting each other wherever the need exists, because we know working together builds a better working environment.
All KSI “employees” are co-workers in the truest sense of the word, and we use the term “co-worker” – rather than employee – to remind us of this legacy and approach.

BILL GERMANIS
PRESIDENT & CEO
Bill brings more than 20 years of experience in the service industry. He is responsible for overall company strategy. He has played an integral role in driving KSI’s growth in western Canada and into the United States.
Bill is responsible for initiating the Business Continuity Plan should an emergency arise.

LOUIS NICKOLAOU
DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Louis leads strategic development at KSI, with a focus on finding new products and new opportunities for growth, often through disruptive innovation.
His work encompasses looking at our service offerings in order to bring new approaches to the table for our clients, continually asking, “how can we do better?”

MARLON CANALES
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Marlon’s mandate is to ensure our project leaders and teams have clear and defined expectations complemented with the necessary training, tools and resources to deliver on the work scopes for our clients.
Having joined KSI in early 2021, Marlon brings a wealth of high-level experience in managing complex and sophisticated projects including the front-line delivery teams formerly in the event and hospitality industry (e.g., PanAm Games with Sodexo).
In today’s work environment, upgrading and updating of skills and compliance awareness is an on-going – and a seemingly never-ending – necessity, training is a key focus area, for which his formal background in HR provides the structure and discipline to maintain our teams’ success.
Marlon’s 4-year varsity Men’s soccer commitment also underscores his belief that when players know their roles within a team, have the necessary abilities, trust their support, and share a commitment to a goal, good things happen.
Marlon reports directly to the President.

ROMAN ILYAD
DIRECTOR OF PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
Roman has worked up the ranks within the management team at KSI since his original hire as an Administration Manager in 2018. His ability in seeing process and structure has naturally led him to his current role that focuses on quality assurance throughout the organization. He has eye for inefficiencies and gaps, which he then works to correct.
Roman is our client project on-boarding advisor, working to ensure the teams are trained and supported during the transitional operations phase, setting the foundation for the service delivery and project reporting process. He is instrumental in the technology training for our teams.
Roman reports directly to the President.
